Naming the boys...

I think I have never post how I name the boys.

So I shall do this post about how I name the boys.

People who know me for a long time will know that I really wanted to have baby girl.

But well,no luck.

All three are boys.

*pouts*

But as much as I wanted a girl,I will not try again unless suay suay kana.

Way before I was pregnant with Dante,I always thought of naming my first girl EN CI(恩慈).

I really like these 2 words,EN(恩) & CI(慈)

But gave up the idea of CI(慈) because it is too complicated to write already.

Esp when CAI(蔡)is already so difficult to write.

Before knowing Dante is a boy,I basically did not think of any boys' name.

* OK,I admit I very bias. LOL.*

But I know I will name him/her CAI EN _ (蔡恩_).

Then after I know Dante is a boy,I play around with the words.

I did not want my child to have a name that is too long to write.

So basically is just CHUA EN _ (CAI EN _), then the English name.

I decided that I want the last word to be two letters just like how CI is.

1st two choices of name were EN DE,EN YI,EN CI.

I pick the 2nd one,EN YI because my brother has a DE in his name.

And also DE does not seems to match the word EN,too many E.

And EN CI sounds girly.

I basically only got the HanYuPingYing and not the actual word.

Not that my Chinese sucks,just I want to make sure the English version of the Chinese name do not look weird.

YI(义)was one of my choices and was picked because of the number of strokes.The lesser the better. LOL!

The other choices were :

-毅

-意

-易

I thought I decided which name to give,but no I was wrong.

Because I saw the word YU(宇) which I like alot too.

In the end I stuck to my original choice and decided that if I were to have another boy,EN YU(恩宇) shall be the name.

English name was picked by Hubby.

DANTE(DAN-TAY) was a character in DEVIL MAY CRY.

He decided that DANTE will be our son's name right after knowing the gender.

CHUA EN YI, DANTE(CAI ENYI)

EN YI means 感恩，见义勇为

DANTE means lasting, enduring.

Then when I know I was pregnant with no2,I again think of girls' names first.

DANAE was what I wanted as it looks similar to DANTE.

And CHUA EN CI(蔡恩慈)was what I wanted to name no2 if is a girl.

But nah,GOD decided not to give me girl again.

SO BOY AGAIN!

Remember EN YU(恩宇) that I wanted to use for DANTE?

So I decided to name no2 as EN YU(恩宇)

Although I kind of decided EN YU(恩宇) will be the name,I was not 100% sure if I want to use that name anot.

EN CI(恩赐)pop up again.
But I still use back my original choice EN YU(恩宇) as EN CI(恩赐)sounds too girly. LOL!

As for the English name,I couldn't find any name that match DANTE.

Did not want to use other names without the D and the TE.

And I happen to saw DONTE which has the same meaning of DANTE.

So no2 was name CHUA EN YU, DONTE(CAI ENYU).

EN YU(恩宇) means 感恩这宇宙

DONTE means "lasting".

But sadly,DONTE was a stillborn.:(

Then when I know I was pregnant with no3,

I thought to myself,AHHH this time round GOD Will give me a girl le ba since I have 2 boys.

BUT BAH,I WAS WRONG.

BOY AGAIN!

:(

I wanted to use DONAE, EN YA(恩雅) if it is a girl but no is a boy.:(

I did not know what name to give at all for boy.:(

Out of ideas.

Cracked my head for a long long time.

Basically I name the kids using A,E,I,O,U with the Y in front.

YA,YE,YI,YO,YU.

YA seems girly.

YE seems weird,

YI taken.

YO no such words

YU taken.

YO makes me think of YOU.

So no3 name is EN YOU.

But before deciding EN YOU,I had lots of debats inside myself. LOL!

EN CI,EN JIE,EN YONG etc.

But I still prefer the boys all have similar names.

EN YOU is what I really wanted.

But I could not decide the word.

佑 or 宥 ?

Decided it will be 佑 as I want GOD to protect this little boy of mine after what happen to DONTE.

As for the english names,more debats were going on in me.

Doste, Durante, Deonte, Devante and many many more.

And I even thought of DINTE, DUNTE.-.-"

ALL LOOKS TOO WEIRD!

Kind of decided DOSTE,as it looks similar to DONTE.

But hubby thinks it is too girly.-.-"

Till one day,I was searching Latin boys name(DANTE is a LATIN name) and I saw DRACO which means DRAGON.

I thought to myself,how nice!Because no3 will be born in the dragon year(just like me and donte).

Plus is five letter name just like the same as DANTE and DONTE.

So I whatsapp hubby and tell him "I KNOW WHAT TO NAME NO3.DRACO = Dragon."

Surprisely,he thinks is ok.LOL!

So no3 name is CHUA EN YOU, DRACO(CAI ENYOU).

EN YOU(恩佑) means 感恩及保佑。

DRACO means DRAGON.

Although I very much wanted a name with TE at the back,but it is too difficult to find one.:(

And so this is how I name the 3boys.:)

Happy 1st birthday,my 2nd precious baby!
How have you been?

Mummy miss you lots.

Time flies isn't it?
It has been a year since you were born.
Is been a year of ups and downs.

Mummy want to thank you for protecting Draco all these while and of coz protecting your big brother Dante too.
I'm really happy that you protected Draco so that he can arrive in this world safely.

Mummy bought a bracelet with charms as a gift to remember you on your birthday.
Unfortunately it couldn't arrive in time.

Is been a year but the pain of losing you never fades,I still cry whenever I think of how I did not protect you,how my body couldn't hold you longer.

On my 24th Birthday...

Yeah!

I turn 24 on the 13 July.

As per wat Kor say,2rounds liao!-.-"

Getting older but I'm proud to say I achieved alot of what I wanted.

Many of my peers are still single.

But I got two little precious boys!^^

My birthday present from my ownself arrived on Tues at my workplace.

My very first branded item!

Haha!

I really love this because of the logo!

And this item can only be found in outlet as per according to the sales associate I talk to at the Coach boutique!

This large wrislet cost me $100 with free registered mail to my workplace!^^

 The day before my birthday,I bought Dante together with me to collect my passport after my appt.
And head to Mum's place afterwhich.

This cheeky boy was so happy as he get to skip school and visit ah ma.

Ya and I crazily bought 12breads from Breadtalk since on offer.=x

 On my birthday itself,I bathe Dante and did most of my household chores before heading to JCube for movie.

He loves to soak inside the water!

That morning,someone who having some renovations upstairs since 9+am till 3+pm non stop!

I woke up all thanks to the drilling but that piggy boy continues sleeping for at least another 15mins after I wake up!

Ask Dante if he wants to wear jacket since we are going for movie at Jcube.

He wanted and he wants to wear the hoodie over his head.-.-

That's him asking me to take photo of the board in the lift.

Bought him for Ice Age 4.

He gets a free ticket and is entitled to buy a kids combo which consist of a cup of ribena and popcorn at $5.90.

But my ticket itself cost $11 on a FRIDAY NOON!

Tsk!

He drag me to watch people ice skate.

I was freezing there!

Afterwhich I bought him to the arcade to play.

As the card is with hubby,I decided to buy one more since there is promotion.

If you are a passion card member,you will get $10 extra of value with every purchase of the card worth $10.

And just so happen that is my birthday,I get another $10 of value.

So total $30 of value but I only spend $10!

We played lots of games,basketball to racing cars!

He had so much fun!

Then we head back home to prepare as Hubby is bringing us to Msia as per requested by me!

LOL!

 This came after we left home for movie.
But luckily SIL came home and she actually took the same lift as the DHL guy!

I dont have time to open it up once I reach home as I was in a rush to prepare!

Shall tell you what is in it later on.

Exchange rate was 2.49.

Almost change at Jcube at 2.485 but Dante was dragging me to go arcade so no chance to change.

While waiting for Daddy to buy A&W for him,he was playing with the buses he got that afternoon!

I only allow him to bring 2 of them.

Hubby was so excited about having A&W as the last time we had it was almost a year ago!

I'm not much of a fan of it though.
LOL!

Hubby's 3pieces chicken and french fries which is for Dante.

Hubby order nuggets for Dante too!

This is a Must have for me whenever I go for A&W.
But the standard drops alot!:(

As Hubby got 2 rootbear float,I didnt get any for my set so that Dante can drink this.

We went shopping around the new mall after dinner.

My aim was to shop,shop,shop and shop!
Been almost a year since I went Msia lo.

Saw these two pairs of CARS' sneakers at Payless.
I saw another design before at Jcube Payless.
These two are much more adorable lei!

But Dante dont want it and the price abit Zzz.

Oh ya,check out that train which is in the photo that I got for Dante.

Mad cheap.

Is a three part train with logs.

Selling at RM39.90.

Singapore usual price is around $29.90.
So after exchange rate,I got the train at around SGD$16!

But there is only one design left.

Luckily Dante dont have this design yet.
LOL!

Saw this cute gift set which remind me of Sweetheart Rachel as she is crazy over orange for Tidus.

So I bought it for Tidus.

Yet to pass to her though.
Hope she like it!

We went shopping at FOS.

I spend almost an hour there digging some clothes.-.-"

The Tshirt I got!

3 for RM45 which is around 3 for SGD$18.

Ahhh~
Means one is only for SGD$6!

Hubby got these three at RM45 too!

The polo tee he got for RM40 each.

Which is around SGD$16.

We went shopping at Tesco after that.

Saw this Pringles Multi Grain so I bought for Dante.

Since Multi Grain seems more healthy than other flavours!=x

Although it is still unhealthy because it is POTATO CHIPS!

RM4.99 = SGD$2

Bought Famous Amos cookies at RM12.99 = SGD$5.20.

Bought all these local products for Mummy.

It used to be very yummy but standard drops alot!

Tsk!

Bought Colesaw and whipped potatoes for Supper before going for shopping at Tesco!

I really miss having LARGE WHIPPED POTATOES in Singapore.T.T

Anyone interested to know what was in the DHL packing that arrive on my birthday?

LOL!

I only get to open it the next morning as we reach Singapore at 11plus pm and was exhausted.

Is the super pretty grosgrains ribbons + resins I bought online!

If anyone is keen to get a yard or a few,can always leave down a message as all these I'm gonna sell them by yards!^^

That's the end of my birthday.

A very simple birthday with no big surprise nor present.

OH YA,no cake too!

But I really enjoyed myself.

Seeing Dante being happy(although is not his birthday),makes me happy too.

And all thanks to hubby who brought us to Msia immediately after he ends work.

I'm really contented with everything I got on my birthday.

Only thing is that,I wish Donte was with me on my birthday.:(

Missing him always.

Birth Story Of Donte

I got the urge to blog about Donte's birth story.
But this post would probably take awhile before I complete.
Not sure when will I complete it as I definitely will tears when I talk about it.

Shall leave this as a draft first.

Decided that I should continue with this birth story of Donte.

Birth Story of Little Chua En Yu,Donte.

I still remember clearly on 06.01.2012 Friday,I was on my way to JP NTUC Xtra to look for Pineapple Sauce for Mummy for baking cookies when Donte kicked me real hard.
I still told Esther Love and Eve BaoBao,that Donte just gave me a real hard kick.
But I never thought it will be the last time I felt his kicks.

I went out on Sunday 08.01.2012 to AMK HUB with Eve Baobao,Esther Love and the kids to play.
I still climb up and down with the kids as Dante was afraid.
Nothing was impossible to me even if Im pregnant.

On the very same night,Hubby suddenly ask me if Donte kicked me these few days which he didnt even asked before ever since Im preggy with Donte.
I told him,the last time I remember he kicked me was on friday.

We went to bed as per normal after that.

I did not really had a good night sleep,I woke up rather early on Monday morning 09.01.2012.
With lots of thoughts or sixth sense,I sense something is not right after 'talking' to Donte.
No matter how I touch,rub,move my tummy,he did not move at all.
Call it the motherly instinct,I sense something was not right.

I sms my supervisor that I'm not coming in for work.
I was only back to work after my 2mths of unpaid leave.
I woke hubby up and after cleaning up,we brought Dante who is still in his pjs to KKH straight.

Told the nurse at Delivery Suite what happen and was brought into a room for checks.
They couldnt detect any heartbeat and then I'm already prepared for the worst.

When they called in a doctor to do ultrasound,I knew it that Donte was gone.
But it was only after the doctor call Hubby in and talk,then I started crying.

Arrange to get admitted and started the induce procedure.
Pills need to be inserted 12 hourly till my contractions starts.
4 pills that's what the doctor told me and hubby.

Hubby send Dante to my mom's place after I was send to the ward.
I basically hide myself in the ward by shutting the curtains throughout my stay.

I cant accept looking into anyone's eyes at all.
I cried at night cause I was all alone.
I cried so loud that the nurse would come in and ask me how am I.

I was inserted in total 5pills.
By the 3rd pill,I'm already very frustrated.
Every single time I need to insert pill,I need to be send down to delivery suite to do the insert.
Then rest there for 2-3hours before sending back to the ward again.
This procedure repeats no matter what time is it.
Basically I didnt and couldnt have enough sleep at all.

When is time to insert the 4th pill,I got really upset and started to demand to let me insert the pill at the ward itself.
The nurse refused as they are not trained to insert pill and the pill is only avaliable at delivery suite.
So I actually went down to delivery suite unwillingly to insert the 4th pill.

The nurse manager came and talk to me after I came back from delivery suite.
I was very upset with how I was treated in the ward.
I was in the b2+ ward anyway.

I know how subsidied patients are treated as compared to the private wards patients.
I know and I know how should I talk to the people there to get what I wanted.

Basically I demanded to have the induce pill inserted at the ward itself.
The nurse manager agree and told me that the next pill will be inserted in the ward itself but I must let them know once I feel any pain etc.
I told her,yes of cause I know.

By the time I need to insert the 5th pill,I actually refusing anything.
I didnt even eat much throughout my stay in the ward.

After the insert of the 5th pill,I rest awhile and started to have the wriggling feeling.
I knew I knew that feeling.

I started to panic as Hubby is not here yet.
I really wanted him to be there to withness the birth of Donte.

I called for the nurse and I was in real pain already.
I couldnt even walk nor sit on the wheelchair.
I was being wheel down to the delivery suite via the portable bed.
I was wiggling throughout!

Once reach delivery suite,they prepared me by asking me to change etc.
I tried to control the wriggling feeling as Hubby is not here yet.
But I couldnt.

After a few push wtih the help of laughing gas,Donte was out before Hubby could reach.
Hubby only arrive after a few mins after Donte was out.

Donte was born on 11.01.2012 with no cries,no smiles.
I rested awhile before continuting pushing out my placenta as it was stuck or something.
Donte was being sent to be clean up,weigh and meaure before they bring him back to us to let us spend some time with him.

He was a beautiful boy.
He has the eyes of Dante,the nose of Dante,the chubby cheeks of Dante.
Basically he looks like Dante,only smaller version and with no cries.

The midwife who help me deliver was a Sister,Sister Teo PeiLing.
She was really nice,one of the few nice nurses I met throughout my stay.
She talk to me in a real nice tone,she dont ask much.
I really appreciate her alot.
We spend sometimes with him telling him how much we love him,how sorry I am.

After everything is done,he was send to the moturtary.
A place I never wanted him to go.

He was cremated on 12.01.2012,hubby was there with him.
I wasnt.
Hubby dont allow me to go as he know I cant take it for sure.

Donte's ashes was scattered in the sea at Changi on 13.01.2012,he was there alone.
Both Hubby and I wasnt there for him.:'(

My En Yu,My Donte,My 2nd Bundle Of Joy.
Love you forever...

I regreted alot for neglecting him through out the whole 26weeks of pregnancy.
I was in deep stress.
I had bleeding in my first trim,vomitting non stop for the whole first trim.
I though life got better when I went into 2nd trim,but I was told Donte might be a Down baby.
I sink into deep stress,I love kids and will not abort them.
But what if he is a Down baby,we really couldnt afford.
Thus,I neglected him alot.

Shortly after doing amnio and the results was normal,Donte left me.
I duno why even up till today,I couldnt forgive myself for neglecting him.:(

Regrets regrets and more regrets.

Donte lives in our heart,now and forever.
Even in Dante's heart,he knew he hs a baby boy who left us too early although he dint get to see him.
He knew where is Donte now.
And Im waiting for him to turn slightly older before showing him the photo of Donte.

The birth story of Donte might not be a interesting one but is a story I really wish to share with everyone.
I love how people recongised Donte.
I love how people remember him as my 2nd precious.

Is really ok to mention about Donte in front of me,Im prefectly fine about it.:)

Over the weekends...

On Saturday after coming back home from Mom's place.

Dante and I stayed over at Mom's place on Friday night!

Best feeling ever!:D

So after coming back from Mom's place,we head out to Takashimaya.

In the first place we wanted to go to Bras Basah Complex,as I wanted to go to Art Friend.

But ended up in Taka as Art Friend there only close at 9pm while Bras Basah branch close at 6pm!

We went out quite late,so we are afraid we cant make it on time!

After searching up and down for the things I wanted at Art Friend.

I didn't get to buy what I really wanted as either they don't have stocks or they don't have what I wanted!:(

Head down to Cold Storage to find thing I needed as per informed by the salesperson at Art Friend.
Lucky for me,I found it!

Happy happy!

Have been a little busy recently going to places searching for items I want to use for my upcoming flea!

Crafts making is not easy in Singapore as materials are not cheap here plus is very difficult to find!!!Tsk!

After dinner,we went to the toy fair to walk around.

Our 2nd time there.

As usual Dante didn't want to leave.-.-"

Decided to go for Madagascar 3 movie at J cube after that.

Took bus 502 and rush back home to get our jackets plus put our things down!

Madagascar 3 was ok,to me is neutral.

Not say very fanatistic nor very bad.

But Dante sat down quietly on my lap through out the show!

Wondering did he enjoyed it or is he too tired to move.:X

Took bus home afterwhich and KO immediately upon reaching home.

Tired to the max!

On Sunday,we decided to go to Marina Square for the Madagascar Show as I happen to see YanWen went with Velle!

Did a check on Marina Square web and off we go!

Love bringing Dante for this type of shows.

But he don't always seems to enjoy it as he don't dance nor he don't sing along.-.-"

And he don't let me sing nor dance as well!!:(

Still remember last Dec,when I was still pregnant with Donte.

I brought Dante to a few shows.

Miss those days lots.

 We decided to queue to see if we can get a chance to go into the sitting area.

And we get a space!
Dante was given this badge by the working personnel there.

He keep telling me is GIRAFFE!

Chang Chang de!

Gao Gao de!

LOL!

Yeah,he speak to me in singlish!-.-"
But more of Chinese!

Ever since he started school,he will speak in a English tone Chinese.
BTH to the max!

And after he came back from school,he will speak English to me.

Told him he is not suppose to speak English when he is at home.

I didnt want his Chinese to become lousy as he speak more English in school than Chinese.

So the only chance to speak more Chinese is at home right after school.

3 kids went up for a simple game and got themselves prizes!

I asked Dante if he want to go up,he say NO!!!
I knew he will say NO,but just ask for fun!LOL!

 They came out for another round of Dancing!

Cute penguins!LOL!

After that was Meet and Greet session!
But we didnt get to take photos with them and I doubt Dante will dare to.

And as usual,

Dante refused to leave the place as he don't bear to say bye-bye to the cast.

Headed to Chinatown in a rush as the shop I wanted to go closed at 6pm on Sunday!

But end up when I reach there before 6pm,it was close already!:(((
Sad to the max!

But I still manage to grab some fabrics from the shops nearby and some ribbons at the Pasar Malam!

It cheers me up a little but still upset that I didn't get to go to my regular shop to shop!:(( 

Had dinner and head back home!

That's how I spend my weekends with my family.
